Dominique Ginn

Dominique, originally from Essexville, Michigan, has been an athlete for most of her life. She began dancing at a young age and spent her formative years as a gymnast, ultimately competing at the collegiate level at Western Michigan University. Alongside her athletic pursuits, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from WMU.

Following college, Dominique joined Movement Reservoir Dance Company for its inaugural season in 2022. Since then, she has begun developing her voice as an emerging choreographer, creating two original works for the company.

Dominique approaches dance as both a form of creative expression and a deeply personal, spiritual practice. For her, movement is a practice of listening inward and expressing outward—telling stories, fostering vulnerability, and giving physical form to what exists within.

Outside of dance, Dominique enjoys spending time with her husband and son, finding joy in the everyday moments that keep her grounded and inspired.
